I. The Invitation
We got engaged on the Fourth of July in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, and we’ll return there the same weekend in 2027 for an intimate wedding under the fireworks.
First, we want a weekend with all of you to celebrate. Come visit us in South Florida, see the art, and experience South Beach and Wynwood the way we do every year.
Then we’ll head to the lake for the second half of June through the first week of July. Friends and family are welcome to make a vacation of it and pop up whenever works.
There’s no need to attend everything—join the parts of the celebration that suit you. We can’t wait to see you.

Start the day with brunch and hang by the pool at the Kenmore Village — steps from the beach and Ocean Drive, with Patrick's condo right next door. The rest of South Beach is open to you until the cruise.

One of the main events for the weekend: an afternoon on the water aboard a 62-ft catamaran with Magic Star Charters. Room for up to 35 guests. We'll coordinate a shuttle from the hotel to the departure location.

Walk Ocean Drive and wander the galleries and hotel art shows — Eden, The Betsy, Sagamore — before heading to Faena for late night. Grab dinner anywhere in between; we'll share recommendations, but there are plenty of options.

A relaxed day to recover. If you missed Untitled or Scope, join a group heading over Sunday afternoon. For those still around Sunday night, Red Dot Miami is the plan for some accessible art.

II. Stay close, spend wisely
We recommend staying in Miami Beach for the weekend. The Kenmore Village Hotel (1050 Washington Avenue) is one block from Patrick's condo, with reasonable rates for Art Basel weekend, a pool, patio, and everything within walking distance. Weston is also a welcome, more affordable option; see the FAQ for details.
Both Miami (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) are great options. They're roughly equidistant from South Beach, and sometimes one airport is noticeably cheaper than the other, so it's worth checking both before booking.
If you're in town Friday and would like to visit our home in Weston, you're welcome to come by casually. Just text us to coordinate.
Saturday's brunch, pool, and galleries are walkable in South Beach. We'll coordinate a shuttle from the hotel to the cruise departure location, and take Ubers together to Faena and Red Dot. We'll collect transportation needs in your RSVP.
Confirmed guests will receive access details for Patrick's Art Deco condo—one block from the Kenmore and a walkable place to meet, rest, refresh, or grab a drink near The Betsy.
The wedding · Summer 2027
In the summer of 2027 we'll be married at Eagle Waters Resort in Eagle River, Wisconsin—on the world's largest chain of freshwater lakes, twenty-eight of them, with a heated pool right on the water. It's a bit of a trek to the Northwoods, but it's pure Americana: tranquil, timeless, and the place Patrick grew up going to the lake and to summer camp. It means the world to our family, and we'd love to share it with you.
We'll be at the lake from the second half of June through the first week of July—the Fourth of July up here is something special—and we hope friends and family make a vacation of it and pop up whenever works. You're welcome to stay at Eagle Waters Resort, with its lakeside amenities, while availability lasts. Nearby hotels and vacation rentals in Eagle River and Three Lakes are options too.
III. Good to know
Not quite. December is our big, open engagement celebration in Miami. Our wedding follows in summer 2027 at Eagle Waters Resort in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. You're welcome at both—just let us know in your RSVP if you'd like to join us for the wedding too.
Our wedding is at Eagle Waters Resort in Eagle River, near Three Lakes. You can fly into Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA), rent a car, and drive up to the Northwoods—plan on roughly an hour and a half to two hours depending on your destination. Rhinelander–Oneida County Airport (RHI) is closer, with a shorter drive, though flights there may cost more. Both are good options; we recommend comparing fares and renting a car for the stay.
You're welcome to stay at Eagle Waters Resort while rooms are available. The resort has lakeside amenities including a pool, dining, and water activities. You can also book a nearby hotel or Airbnb in Eagle River or Three Lakes; Chanticleer Inn is another option in Eagle River.
Yes! If you arrive Friday and want to stop by our home in Weston, you're welcome to visit casually. Just text us so we can coordinate.
No. Come to one event or all three. We’re keeping the weekend flexible, casual, and fun.
Something comfortable for the boat during the day—bring a swimsuit and sunscreen. For the evening and Faena, cocktail attire: polished but expressive—this is Art Basel.
No. The Kenmore Village Hotel is our recommended home base—it's one block from Patrick's condo and walking distance to the South Beach plans. You're also welcome to stay at a hotel in Weston, near our home, where rates may be lower; just plan for an Uber or carpool into Miami Beach. Or choose any other Miami Beach hotel that suits you. Whatever works best for you.
Registry & gifts
Your presence is the greatest gift. For those who wish, our registry helps send us to the south of France and on a slow week at the lake — trains along the coast, boat days, long dinners.
